Connective tissue is specialised tn connect and anchor various body organs. The main function of these tissue are binding,supporting,and packing together different organs of the body.Thats why blood and lymph are called fluid connective tissue.The complex permanent tissues consist of more than one type of cells.All these cells co ordinate to perform a common function.Xylem is consist of four different types of cells -tracheid,vessels,xylem parenchyma and xylem sclerenchyma .Like xylem phloem is also compose of 4 element of cells- sieve tubes,companion,phloem parmenchyma and phloem fibres that is the reason why these two tissues are called complex tissue. Striated muscles show alternate dark and light stripes (striations or bands) so they can be recognised if you see them in a slide.
