Is it safe to take a sleep-aid with a lot of caffeine in my system?
I have a lot of caffeine in my system right now keeping me awake. Could I safely take a sleep aid liquid cap to calm myself down and get some rest? If not, is 3mg Melatonin safe at least?
One time I drank black coffee at night. I was young and didn't know any better. I was so wired and nervous. I took a shower to shake it off which didn't work. I let my mom know and she made me a cup of Chammamile tea (she used the tea leaves) and I was able to calm down and get to sleep. If you have this tea, try it. If not, then the others sleeping aids may help settle your nerves so you can get some sleep. Is it safe? I can't see why not. The only thing is you are dehydrated and you may feel sick. An herbal tea would probably be your best bet.
