What are possible natural sweeteners (aside from Stevia Rebaudiana) that help control blood glucose?
I have to turn over a research problem tomorrow. Please help.
The one I have experience with is Lo Han. It is next to zero in calories and sugar. It has no bitter aftertaste, does not increase cravings for carbs like the artificials.
Agave nectar is 90% fructose. It doesn't raise glucose levels, but damages the kidneys and raises blood pressure, elevates triglycerides and cholesterol levels and deposits fat globules in the liver. Sold in health food stores and touted as not affecting glucose levels, it is pure poison.
