Can a planet of magnetic poles in places different from ours?

Our poles are where the world turns minimum, and all this makes sense, I just want to confirm it. For example, if Mars had an electromagnetic field (I know that this does not) would, by nature, the two polar caps to the north and south? or could they in other areas instead? Thank you guys, I just thought it would be a little strange if a planet had the north and south poles along, say, for example, it is equator. ^ ^;

Yes, it can be different .. as a matter of fact ... all the planets move slowly pole for millions and millions of years until they turned and they continue to do this forever ..... and in truth ... the north pole is really on the left. ... it not at the top of the world, no more .... and did not for long .... why they teach you in school at the top .....
